PHILADELPHIA (April 30, 2024) — On April 18, 2024, the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) hosted its inaugural White House Minority Health Forum to recognize National Minority Health Month. Representing Fox Chase Cancer Center, Camille Ragin, PhD, MPH, took part in a forum addressing cancer disparities, from screening to survivorship.

PHILADELPHIA (April 29, 2024) —Following her double mastectomy in October of 2019, Agnes Judge fell into a deep depression – experiencing what she recalls as a “deep, dark place where only prayer could get me out.” Indeed, Judge credits her faith for lifting her up and setting her on a 50-state tour to raise awareness about breast cancer.

PHILADELPHIA (April 22, 2024) — One hundred and thirty-three Fox Chase Cancer Center physicians have been named to Philadelphia magazine’s “Top Doctors” list for 2024. Physicians on the list were nominated by a national survey of their professional peers.

PHILADELPHIA (April 19, 2024) — Lucia Borriello, PhD, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Cancer and Cellular Biology at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, and Iyad Obeid, PhD, an Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the College of Engineering at Temple University, each received $100,000 research grants today from the PA Breast Cancer Coalition (PBCC).
